From the jet at SXM to the yacht in Gustavia — the seam made invisible

St Barts' airport takes only small aircraft, so a private jet lands at SXM in Sint Maarten — and the seam between the jet and the island is where an arrival is won or lost. Handled badly, it is customs queues, a scramble for the inter-island shuttle, luggage anxiety. Handled well, it is invisible: you step off the jet and everything simply flows toward Gustavia.
