Search 'St Barts all-inclusive' and you'll find resort listings. The island has none. Here's the better thing that replaces them, and why it exists.
The short answer: no resorts, by design
St Barts has no traditional all-inclusive resorts, and it never developed the model. Two reasons: the island positions itself as the Caribbean's private alternative to mass tourism, and it simply doesn't have the room count — a few hundred hotel keys against the tens of thousands in a place like Cancún. Limited supply and steady demand mean no one ever needed to bundle rooms, meals and drinks into a wristband.
What replaces it: the staffed villa
The island runs on private villas and à-la-carte luxury. The all-inclusive experience you're picturing — meals handled, nothing to organise, one contact — is delivered instead by a staffed villa: a private chef who cooks in your kitchen, and a concierge who arranges provisioning, transfers, reservations and activities. It is the same freedom from logistics, in a more private shape.
Why it's usually better than a resort
The difference is control. Menus are written around your table rather than a buffet line, meals happen on your schedule, and dietary needs are planned before you arrive rather than worked around on the day. You also trade a shared pool deck for your own house — the reason honeymooners and families choose the villa model once they understand it.
