For what is said once: proposals, renewed vows, birthdays that count.
Some stays hang on a single instant — ten seconds of silence before an answer, a toast that makes a table weep. The Vows collection stages them without ever weighing them down. We scout the place and the hour (the empty cove at 5.40pm, the rock where the light falls right), we arrange what must remain invisible — the photographer nobody sees, the flowers delivered during an absence, the musician who begins at the right moment — and we prepare the dinner that follows. The rule we impose on ourselves: no one should feel the organisation. Luxury here is that everything seems to have happened on its own.

Questions
How far ahead should this be arranged?
Six weeks is enough for a proposal, three months for renewed vows with guests — more over Christmas, when the island is full.
Can it be kept secret from the other?
That is the usual case. We communicate on a single thread with you alone, and everything that must arrive does so during an organised absence.
